Uyuni Salt Lake

Day 1: La Paz, Salar de Uyuni
Transfer from your hotel to the Airport of La Paz for your flight to Uyuni (not included). Arrival to Uyuni and transfer to the hotel; upon arrival, enjoy an excursion to Uyuni Salt Lake and Isla Pescado. With 12.000 square km the Salar de Uyuni is the largest salt flat on earth, offering stunning sceneries which can be hardly matched. The sound of silence makes the heart beats faster and the surreal pentagons of crystalline salt, the pure sky, the color lagoons, the cacti and the flamingos, certainly make you feel that there is no other place like this in the whole world. Lunch in the middle of salt lake. Continue to Isla Pescado, also called “Incawasi”, an oasis with formations of algae and fossils. It is covered by thousands of giant columnar cacti, which are more than a hundred years old, growing to a height of over 12 mtrs. The landscape is ideal for photography hunters. Dinner and overnight at a salt Hotel in Colchani. (lunch, dinner)

Day 2: Uyuni Salt Lake
Enjoy a full day excursion to the small village of Tahua, at the foot of Thunupa Volcano. Stroll through the village and hike to the cave of the Coquesa Mummies. Dinner and overnight at a salt Hotel in Colchani. (breakfast, box-lunch, dinner)

Day 3: Uyuni Salt Lake, La Paz
Today we will leave the Salar de Uyuni and take a transfer to the airport for your flight back to La Paz (not included), upon arrival transfer to your hotel. (breakfast)
