All requests and bookings must be communicated to SOUTHAMERICA INSIGHT in writing.
SOUTHAMERICA INSIGHT is a tourism consultant with over 20 years of experience specializing in Chile, Argentina, Peru and Bolivia.
SOUTHAMERICA INSIGHT selects the optimal service providers based on market research, advises travelers based on needs and desires, books the requested services and makes payments on the passengers’ behalf.
SOUTHAMERICA INSIGHT assists passengers throughout the trip, assuring quality and satisfaction.
The contract for SOUTHAMERICA INSIGHT passengers shall only come into existence once SOUTHAMERICA INSIGHT determines acceptance.
Upon completion of the contract, SOUTHAMERICA INSIGHT will issue an invoice to the passenger for payment.
A 20% guarantee, unless specified otherwise, must be deposited according to SOUTHAMERICA INSIGHT specifications.
Full payment, unless specified otherwise must be effected 60 days prior to the travel date and must be paid according to SOUTHAMERICA INSIGHT specifications.
All travel documentation will be issued to the passenger after payment.

V. CANCELLATION POLICIES
The following scale applies, unless other regulations had been specified:
61 days or more before arrival: A handling charge of $95 USD per person
60 – 31 days before arrival: 30 % of tour cost
30 – 15 days before arrival: 50 % of tour cost
14 – 0 days before arrival: 100 % of tour cost
No show: 100% of tour cost
Any refund will be less transaction costs
Flights are non-refundable
While traveling in South America, passengers might experience extreme conditions such as high altitude or drastic climate changes. Therefore we highly recommend that each traveler asses his or her health with a medical professional before reserving a specific itinerary.
VII. TRAVEL INSURANCE
Passengers are highly recommended to obtain an insurance policy before traveling.
VIII. DOCUMENTATION & VISAS
Passengers are responsible to comply and present the required documentation in order to enter or exit a determined country. Thus, we highly recommend previously contacting the consulate of the desired travel location for information pertaining to this matter.
Passengers are solely responsible for their luggage before, during and after the length of the trip. In addition, passengers must verify that their luggage meets travel regulations. Furthermore, passengers are in charge of insuring their luggage and or personal belongings.
